Ellis and Abby.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Abby helpfully planted the broad beans whilst Ellis was industriously scavenging for netting to cover the onion sets. Great to be out in the open air and both really enjoyed it.
<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">

<div style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif; text-align: justify;">Next job is to finish digging the plot, get some ground cover for the un-cultivated half of the allotment and get the shallots in before the end of March.
craig whitelawhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10589526131789815611noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1350338523199217563.post-22176179392376021822010-03-06T08:15:00.000-08:002010-03-06T13:50:34.451-08:00dig for victory...!

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">Much progress at the allotment today - having dug the ground up two weeks ago, a period of dry(ish) weather has dried out the ground and much digging and raking could be done.

<span style="font-family: "Trebuchet MS",sans-serif;">A rough plan is to have a patch for onions and garlic, potatoes, peas and beans, parsnips, carrots and beetroot, and purple sprouting brocolli. With radishes, courgettes and rhubarb placed around the site. We're also going to plant sweet peas and sunflowers which we've already germinated at home.
